We are a Madrid-based engineering studio working in the arts. Combining electronics, lighting, kinetic systems, sensors and motion, we bridge technical capability with bespoke art fabrication, pairing engineering precision with the craft to meet the artist's ambitions.
From monumental sculpture to 3D prototyping, we work with steel, brass, composites, resins, glass and wood to translate an artist's concept into a built piece that lasts. We assist artists, galleries and institutions from early technical studies to fabrication and installation. Every project begins with understanding the artist's intent and ends with a piece that exceeds expectations.
End-to-end fabrication services from concept development through installation.
HEXAGONAL was founded on a simple idea: technical complexity should never limit artistic ambition.
Many contemporary artworks rely on technologies, materials and fabrication processes that fall outside the traditional scope of artistic practice. Kinetic systems, electronics, lighting, large scale structures, advanced manufacturing and custom mechanical solutions can transform an idea into something extraordinary, but they can also create barriers between concept and execution.
HEXAGONAL exists to remove those barriers. We combine engineering, fabrication and creative problem solving to help artists realise projects that would otherwise be difficult to design, build or install. Whether developing a custom motion system, engineering a large scale structure, producing detailed 3D models or coordinating specialised fabrication processes, our role is to make ambitious ideas achievable.
We believe that creative vision should not be constrained by technical limitations. Our job is to provide the knowledge, tools and expertise needed to transform concepts into artworks that can be built, exhibited and experienced.
